MY FIRST BABY SWEATER


I used a sweater pattern from my Debbie Bliss magazine and adapted it so it would have the Argyle across the chest.
I hope it softens a little. I washed it once already and it did get softer, but not enough for me.
That's what happens when you can't afford natural fibers.
I love "Red Heart" yarns most of the time because they're inexpensive and DO soften with washing.
It's a better material if you are going to make it for a child. They're clothing must be washed often so therefore it will eventually get softer.
This is for the Son of the Daughter that usually likes store bought gifts, but I hope she'll like it. I sent a picture of it and got "cute" back. I think it was her Hubby that responded. (crossing my fingers)
